2018 GENERAL ELECTION
IMPORTANT DATES

May 22nd - October 9th - Voter Registration opens for new voters and current voters needing to update their address or name.

July 25th - First day to file a petition and consent for a school board member elected at general election.

August 24th - DEADLINE to file a petition and consent for school board office elected at general election ends at NOON.

September 22nd - The Absentee Board will begin mailing absentee ballots to voters who have returned an absentee application to the Voter Registration Office.

October 9th - Last day to REGISTER TO VOTE or UPDATE your address. If you are not registered to vote, you will NOT be able to vote in the General Election on 11/06/2018.

October 10th - In-person (early voting) begins at the Voter Registration office for ALL registered Clark County Voters.

October 29th - DEADLINE to turn in an ABSENTEE APPLICATION to the Voter Registration Office. We close at 4:30 pm, but we accept absentee applications by fax or email until 11:59 pm.

November 5th - Early voting ends at 12:00 pm (NOON).

November 6th - General Election Day (Polls Open 6 am - 6 pm)

November 20th - Recount or contest petition to be filed by NOON
